Lone Peak High School ( LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year.
Franklin attended Lehi High School in Lehi, Utah as a freshman before transferring to Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah as a sophomore. As a sophomore in 2014, Jackson averaged 17.9 points a game and helped his team, along with 4-star future BYU recruit T.J. Haws , win the Utah 5A state championship.
High school career. Born in Belgium, Haws grew up in Alpine, Utah before attending Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah from 2005 to 2009. As a sophomore in 2006–07, he averaged 18.8 points per game, led the state in free-throws made with 129, and shot 81.6% from the free-throw line, with the team winning the state championship.
The trio of Haws, Eric Mika, and Nick Emery were nicknamed the "Lone Peak Three." In his senior season, he averaged 25.2 points and 5.2 assists per game and was named Utah Mr. Basketball and Utah Gatorade Player of the Year. A four-star recruit, Haws committed to play college basketball at BYU before his sophomore season in high school.
High school career. Mika played at Waterford School his freshman and sophomore seasons before attending Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah for his final 2 seasons. Mika help lead Lone Peak to a 26–1 record, the 2012-13 MaxPreps.com National Title and the 5A Utah state title with other future BYU Cougars Nick Emery and T.J. Haws.
