Re: "Contact me before leaving bad feedback". 11-01-201702:56 PM. If you leave a negative feedback/open a case, Etsy will pop up and ask if you've contacted the seller to resolve the ussie amicably. If the seller repeats that, it's a PREVENTIVE; indicating to the buyer that the seller is willing to make things right.
