Restore option not appearing. Hi, I am trying to restore my iphone 6 back to factory settings,the reason for this is i had forgot my passcode which i had recently changed.I am going through the right way of connecting the phone to my pc but in itunes i still am not getting a pop up window appear on screen to RESTORE PHONE.can you please help me.

Mar 13, 2020 12:33 AM in response to Rickydrownsworms. Photos and videos that you previously synced to an iPhone from a computer are removed from the iPhone when you turn on iCloud Photos. The originals of those photos should still be on the computer they were synced from and they can be added to iCloud Photos from it.

I like to backup my iPhone and iPad once a month and manage my music through the finder window on my iMac running Catalina 10.15.5. Now the content of the Finder window is blank and I now only have the option to restore. See attached screen shot. I restarted my iMac couple of times and that didn't fix it. Thank you,
Finder looked like this, eject option available for iPhone so sync finished. Relaunched finder (holding 'alt-option' button and clicking finder in dock or 'alt+cmd+esc' to launch force quit menu). All previous greyed buttons became available. xakf.

If you have photos on an iPhone or iPad that were placed onto the iPhone/iPad by using iTunes (or more recently Mac Finder) to sync them from a computer to the iPhone/iPad, they will be removed from the iPhone/iPad when you turn on iCloud Photos on those devices. Tried to sync photos from an IPhone to ICloud but getting a message "Photos synced from finder will be removed". I understand these are pictures/videos transferred from another device in the past, using finder or ITunes. However, my wife is using the phone for years and does not remember from what device she copied or which pics would be gone.
