In 1946 it absorbed the Omicron chapter of Alpha Kappa Pi, a group that had its start as Delta Sigma Chi (local) in 1920, and which became part of ΑΚΠ in 1930. Thus it was a merger participant, joining the existing chapter of ΑΣΦ. ^ This chapter originated as the Palisades Club, forming in 1910.
