The only shadiness about Redbubble is that people who post their designs on T-shirts that they can sell can, realistically, sell designs that aren't their intellectual property. Redbubble has some barriers in place, but a lot sift through the cracks. So the NBC Timeless t-shirt you see on Redbubble is not being sold by NBC.
Individual people post designs and redbubble sells, prints and sends them. They don't always find and remove things that breach copyright laws. That doesn't affect you getting what you've paid for, but it is a legal and moral issue some people don't want to be a part of so they would choose not to buy those things.
It’s based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex! It’s legit and really really great.. I’ve ordered maybe about 10 t shirts from it.. though they can be overpriced and as each product is custom made to order it can take up to a week to be dispatched.. the quality is really good.
Its a place for independent artists to post their artwork and this company prints it on shirts, phones cases, mugs, etc. They seemed pretty legit. I uploaded all my art work on their site. But then I noticed my items (havent sold anything yet) already had 81 reviews. Hmm.. I google search Redbubble scam and sure enough I found some things.

I'm still getting sales every day, so much that the emails are just spam. I've been using redbubble for many years and am firmly planted in the algorithm with a few designs that went semi viral over the years, one week is a very very short time to be getting frustrated over though.
I can’t vouch for RedBubble but I’ve purchased t-shirts from TeePublic. I generally don’t go with the cheaper classic t-shirt which felt a little rough. I buy the Tri-Blend shirt and they are usually Next Level shirts - super soft and hold up well. Never had any issue with TeePublic.
The new tier system is shady, plagiarism is everywhere & RedBubble doesn’t seem to do anything about it (unless it’s artists making fan art without going through the fan program). It’s been a frustrating site to use overall - I’d suggest Threadless as they have more product options & it’s a bit easier to make money without the site ...
5 - specifically, if you want to focus on selling t-shirts, make sure your design is sensibly placed! i’ve seen many t-shirts on redbubble where the design is too small, too close to the neck or too low down. compare your design placement to other popular designs and see what works!
They are litteraly the same company, but Redbubble has recently introduced a new feature that allows users to post their designs on Teepublic as well. This means that if you open a Redbubble account, you can link it to your Teepublic account and having your designs uploaded in both platforms, which will highly increase your chances of making ...
