The Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) allows you to search property records and view document images for Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn from 1966 to the present. Find a Property Borough, Block and Lot (BBL) or Address. Access Deeds and Other Recorded Documents.
ACRIS is the official online system for recording and maintaining property transfer records in New York City.
You must record all property documents for Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx online using the ACRIS System. You must provide the correct Mortgage Recording Tax information and documents when you record your property documents. This includes any exemption claims.
E-recording is the electronic submission of documents to the New York City Register’s Office. Customers have been able to submit their documents electronically since July 2013. To record your documents electronically, visit www.nyc.gov/acris.
Go to www.nyc.gov/acris and click on “Begin Using ACRIS.” Click “Search Property Records” or “Find Addresses and Parcels.” Under “Search Property Records” you can search documents by party name, parcel identifier (BBL), document type, DOC ID/CRFN, transaction ID, or reel and page.
The ACRIS Notice of Recorded Document System is a registration program that is intended to provide notice to property owners when deeds, mortgages and deed- or mortgage related documents affecting an ownership interest in real property, have been recorded against a single property in the five boroughs of New York City.

ACRIS now uses NYC.ID, the city-wide identity management system, for logging in. Existing NYC.ID accounts can be used to associate to existing ACRIS Customer Profiles.
