I ate like I was in poverty on $13,000 a year my last year. I got out and went up to Northern California to go to college for an engineering degree. I ate so much tuna I can’t eat it today. I made spaghetti from 8 cent cans of tomato paste and a 13 cent spaghetti sauce packs. Or I’d buy 10 for a dollar top ramen noodle soup.
this is a question for specifically geared for anyone who converted to the z07/zr1 brakes. Was it worth it? do the brakes sqeak and dust less than the stock z06 brakes? any negatives that you discovered other than cost upfront? i already have the wheels to clear the brakes so that eliminates that cost. also looking for any input from those that owned both iron rotor cars and ceramic rotor cars.
There are some that think a Corvette with anything over 10K miles is high mileage, shouldn't be driven to anyplace but car shows, and should sit in a garage 99% of the time.
Still not my idea of 2 tops. Still a coupe with removable roof panels, NOT a vert with a second hard top. A C3, or a C2 have the real thing, NOT C4s. Understood. I was just saying that the statement of 2-tops for a C4 coupe is not necessarily fraudulent. (BTW: I had a 73 vert with both hard and soft tops.
