1 - Today, the NYSDOL (@NYSLabor) tweeted: "If your UI claim reaches its Benefit Year End date today, you MAY need to re-apply to continue receiving benefits. We will email and text you more about next steps this week. PUA Claimants do not need to re-apply at BYE - instead, just keep certifying." So, stay patient - we'll know more next week.

Ressurecting a couple-week old thread, apologies. My SO is in the situation as all of you mentioned, but he filed his first claim on March 6th--got approved and we recieved a 'weekly benefit amount' statement and approval that we expected via mail but online never changed from the " Weekly Benefit Amount $0.00" that everyone is seeing here.
A week later, today (9/27), I want to certify for the week ending 9/26. But there is a message online instead of the usual certify button: "You may not claim your weekly benefits using this system until you call the Telephone Claims Center at 1-888-209-8124 and request credit for your waiting week." Getting through to someone is very difficult.

If you claim them Monday you'll get then Wednesday. Also the day after you claim it should show that they have been released.
