In the Amex Membership Rewards family, both the Consumer and Business versions of the Platinum and Centurion cards qualify for a $200 airline credit. You must click here to select Delta as your enrolled airline before you make a reimbursable purchase, else the benefit won't apply. The feature is activated immediately upon airline designation.
I am not asking about the complimentary platinum card but if you pay the $195 for an added card member who gets a reserve card. I believe that they get lounge access with or without the primary card holder but I am not sure if they get any other benefits. I am sure they do not get their own companion ticket for example.
The Free card is only valid for 1yr on the 2-4-1. The premium 2 years. As you need 2x vouchers, my recommendation is you hit voucher first, then recommend your partner for a bonus avios & the partner activates the voucher. The fee used to be refunded pro-rata, but I think amex stopped this practice a few months ago.
Now, 33 days later, out of the blue there is a credit reversal of $200 on my account. I called Amex and agent says original credit was a mistake. I should never have received the credit and Amex just now figured that this happened to "several" accounts. She and supervisor of course could not undo this.
i currently have the double platinum (Amex Platinum + Delta Platinum) combo. I plan to spend 25,000 on the Delta Plat for $10,000 MQM this year. However, I was wondering if it made more sense to apply for Delta Reserve and get the 10,000 MQM via sign up bonus with much less spend. Then I would figure out what to do with the cards after:
Report Hilton Aspire $50 x 4 Flight Credit experiences (All Airlines) Just want to point out a distinction that for AMEX plat you will still need to choose "United Airlines" as the airline for the credit whereas Hilton Aspire, this is no longer the case and that Aspire's $50/quarterly credit applies directly towards airfare.
