Found a fix. This happened to me as well. All you need to do is place your map in a crafting table and surround all other 8 slots with regular paper. 1. The mansion should be 58 blocks wide by 79 blocks long*, with a 2x1x3 entrance. *This does not include the extension. whats the "extension"? On some mansions there is relatively small extension that comes out from the main mansion.
Minecraft 1.11 just came out. With it, a new item was added: Exploration maps. The only thing I know about them so far is that they can be used to find a woodland mansion or an ocean temple, and can be bought from a villager. The minecraft wiki knows about the same, so I'd like to know: Can the map be obtained elsewhere than from a villager?
