Stevens Pass is a Vail owned day area located on U.S. Highway 2 between Everett and Wenatchee, WA. It is part of the Epic pass system. It serves skiers from both sides of the Cascade Mountains, but most come from the Seattle area. The ski area is excellent for families and mixed ability groups since there is every type of terrain for every type ...
Seattle rush-hour traffic is brutal. Lots of stop and go. Even early rush-hour, your 2 o'clock, will give you lots of slow traffic from either Stevens or Alpental. That all being said Stevens is a much better skiing mountain with better snow than any of the I 90 areas including Alpental.

Stevens is my home mountain (though the last couple of years I've spent as much time at Alpental and Crystal). With the ON3P's the Woodsman 102 is better for bumps, the Wren much more of a charger (especially since they added the titanal starting last season).
44,839. Location. Reno, eNVy. Apr 14, 2024. #2. The Ken-tra 88 will ski much stronger in the the 170 than the Riptick in the 172. For yoru size, I think the 170 will be enough ski for you. Find some of this years ski on closeout and grab them. If you want SkiTalk.com stickers, send me a PM.
Stanwood, WA. Mar 18, 2018. #1. Tester: Age 55, 5’10”, 145 lbs. Level whatever, part-time instructor, working on PSIA level 2. Likes everything and thinks bumps are fun rather than obstacles. I am looking for a wider crud and powder ski to replace (or possible complement) my Head Rev 105’s. I am likely replacing my Rev 85’s with a ...
If you're looking to renew your season pass for next season at Stevens there is something that they are not telling you. Next year's passes are on sale now at a discounted price until Monday (4/15). This is all on the Stevens web site. HOWEVER What isn't on the web site is that you can buy...
Business calls me to the Hanford site in Richland, WA the first week of December. A handful of ski mountains are easy to reach on the way back to the Seattle airport, and I could ski Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th. Crystal Mountain and Stevens Pass look worthwhile - preference to Crystal...
