We all know that robocalls from "account services" are scams, however they usually show up as just a phone number. My co-worker just got a call where the caller ID specifically said; "Account Services". No number, just the text. He didn't answer the call, and checked his contacts list for a contact with either "Account" or "Services" and found ...

It's probably either scam or spam. If someone really needed to contact you, they'd leave messages. 3. nimble2. • 4 yr. ago. Likely just a common "Rachael at Cardholder Services" type call. They'll reduce the interest rates on your credit cards for a fee, but all they do is apply for a new credit card for you in your name at a promotional rate. 2.
8. Sort by: HawaiianShirtsOR. •. I think those are robo-dialers just looking for active phone numbers. They then add your number to a database from which you might get real scam calls. Or these are the real scam calls, but when you answer no one in the call center is available to talk to you. Either way, "Account Services" has to be fake.
Hi r/Scams, I recently got a call from an "Account Services" Caller ID regarding a hospital visit I had earlier last year. They claimed to have sent mail to an old address and said that I owed money to a separate entity besides the hospital and that the bill had now been sent to a collections company. He gave me some account number and sent me ...
How to stop getting Account Service spam calls. I have been getting this "Account Service" call twice a day every day for a month. I have At&t btw. They call around 9 am and then again at around 3 pm. I have only answered a few times, but I heard no one on the other line. I should also note they do not leave a voicemail either.
Just got a letter in the mail from them saying I owe money for a credit card I NEVER opened. Even my name is spelled wrong in the letter. I’m just confused on how they got my address to be able to mail me anything. I’ve already checked my credit and nowhere does it say I have this account, in fact my credit is in almost perfect standing.

Absentfriends. • 11 yr. ago. It's a debt consolidation scam, sort of. They take your info and go to the credit card companies and "negotiate" lower interest rates/balances, basically threatening them that you are going to declare bankruptcy otherwise. Credit card companies get whatever percentage of what you owe and charge off the rest (very ...
Answer a call or call them back and ask them to remove your name from their list. At worst the calls continue. At best they stop. 3. Award. ChiMello. • 2 yr. ago. If they are a legitimate debt collector (which if you mean Midland Credit Management they are), demand a proof of debt letter by mail and just tell them to stop calling.
