Electronic color code. A 2.26 kΩ, 1%-precision resistor with 5 color bands ( E96 series ), from top, 2-2-6-1-1; the last two brown bands indicate the multiplier (×10) and the tolerance (1%). An electronic color code or electronic colour code (see spelling differences) is used to indicate the values or ratings of electronic components, usually ...
The first letter of the color code is matched by order of increasing magnitude. The electronic color codes, in order, are: 0 = Black; 1 = Brown; 2 = Red; 3 = Orange; 4 = Yellow; 5 = Green; 6 = Blue; 7 = Violet; 8 = Gray; 9 = White; Easy to remember. A mnemonic which includes color name(s) generally reduces the chances of confusing black and brown.
List of file signatures. This is a list of file signatures, data used to identify or verify the content of a file. Such signatures are also known as magic numbers or Magic Bytes. Many file formats are not intended to be read as text. If such a file is accidentally viewed as a text file, its contents will be unintelligible.

The Microsoft Office XML formats are XML -based document formats (or XML schemas) introduced in versions of Microsoft Office prior to Office 2007. Microsoft Office XP introduced a new XML format for storing Excel spreadsheets and Office 2003 added an XML-based format for Word documents. These formats were succeeded by Office Open XML (ECMA-376 ...
Two decades of E12 values, which would give resistor values of 1 Ω to 82 Ω. The E series is a system of preferred numbers (also called preferred values) derived for use in electronic components. It consists of the E3, E6, E12, E24, E48, E96 and E192 series, [1] where the number after the 'E' designates the quantity of logarithmic value "steps ...
A selection is a list of items on which user operations will take place. The user typically adds items to the list manually, although the computer may create a selection automatically. Adjustment handle. A handle is an indicator of a starting point for a drag and drop operation. Usually the pointer shape changes when placed on the handle ...
