The cost of attendance is an annual estimate of educational expenses you will incur while attending Xavier University. The estimate is made up of two types of costs: direct and indirect. Direct costs* are items that will appear on your university bills, such as, tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and food.
Each academic year the University publishes the Schedule of Tuition and Fees which lists the charges for tuition, housing, meal plans and other fees in effect for the next academic year. Specific course fees, lab fees and deposits are listed in the current Schedule of Classes, but not on the tuition and fees website.

Tuition and Fees Policies. Tuition rates are assessed to a student based on the student's primary matriculation as a graduate or undergraduate student as determined by the academic policies of the University. Students taking courses for audit purposes are charged regular tuition rates.

Effective Summer Term 2024. Rates shown are per credit hour. Online classes are charged at the standard rate. The "Off-Campus Credit Course" rate is reserved for select courses taken at satellite campuses.
Xavier offers all students tuition insurance provided by AWG Dewar. The premium is automatically charged when students register at a rate of $216 per semester for undergraduates and $54 per semester for graduates.
