Military Star Debt = Dept to Federal Government. Dept to Federal Government = Input in IRS database with permission to garnish Federal Tax Refund. If you are in the IRS database you are able to have your refund taken from you. You were in the database for 2018. Maybe the debt was sold during the year and you will not be removed until 2019.
Re: Military Star Card Collection. I will not try to pretend I know what the fees are BUT here is my guess: Payment: $2,500.00 Fee: $525.00. Payment: $3,000.00 Fee: $630.00. Both of the fees listed are 21% of the payment. My guess is that they have some type of "Payment fee".

They are very good on credit limit increases and incentives for their card holders. Just got approved for Military Star Card with a limit of $3600. BK Chapter 7 was discharged 2 months ago. Credit score Trans 565, Equifax 545. Only intend to use it to rebuild credit by using it for gas and groceries then immediately pay it off.
