The United States Postal Service (USPS) will temporarily increase shipping rates from October 3 to December 26, 2021. These peak season rate increases will apply anywhere postage is purchased. However, you can still pay below USPS retail rates by using eBay Labels to print USPS postage. The First Class rate will increase by $0.30 per package.
Free Shipping is what sellers do to build the price of shipping into the item. You would have to do the same, as all those seller still HAVE TO PAY for the shipping. Also note that some sellers do 10's of 1000's of $$ in shipping and make deals with UPS, Fedex and possibly USPS.
Potential buyer contacted me that any zip code typed into the shipping calculator comes up invalid, and he is right. Tried it and same thing. This site is a mess. How is anyone supposed to buy things from me when they can't even get a shipping price?

02-09-202211:44 AM. eBay will not charge Paypal's credit card. They charge directly to the Pay [pal account itself. If you enter "Paypal" as the payment method without the credit card reference it should work just fine. On the other hand Pirateship WILL let you use the credit card instead of a direct charge.

If you want to list with COMMERCIAL rates and weights up to 15.99 oz, you need to offer the discounted rate through your Shipping Preferences. My eBay>>Account>>Site Preferences>>Shipping preferences. Offer carrier-specificdiscounts for buyers.

I live in Oklahoma and my sales tax rate breaks down as this: Oklahoma 4.5%, county 0.367% and city 4.3%. Total: 9.167%. My example is active buy it now item 390871680151 selling for $86.93 with free shipping. The total shown before payment shows tax as $9.24. $86 .93 x 9.167% is $7.97.
