Duluth is a vibrant community with lots to see and do. Seasonal events such as boat rides, train rides, Bentleyville Festival of Lights and a wide variety of concerts and festivals take place within a few blocks of the Aquarium.
The Aquarium is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aquarium must be clear of visitors by 6 p.m. Please plan your visit so that you have plenty of time to explore before closing time. Admission. Adults: $20.00; Seniors 62+: $19.00; Children (age 3-17): $16.00; Children 2 and under FREE! Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Buy Tickets. Each ticket and ticket code is unique and every visitor in your party must have an individual ticket. The exception is for children age 2 and under. These young visitors receive free admission to the Aquarium.

Steep volcanic rocks make a cold, fast-moving aquatic habitat in this unique North Shore river. Based on the real life Baptism River an hour north of Duluth and flowing through Tettegouche State Park, this exhibit is home to a variety of trout species. Exhibit Gallery
Great Lakes Aquarium opened its doors on the Duluth waterfront in 2000 and has been growing and changing ever since. The Aquarium features animals and habitats found within the Great Lakes Basin as well as animals from other freshwater ecosystems such as the Amazon River.
The Aquarium is accessible by cycle- and footpath along the Duluth Lakewalk (from Canal Park), via the Cross-City Trail (from Lincoln Park) and also via the Harbor Drive / 5th Avenue West bridge (from downtown Duluth).
All Aquarium members enjoy: Admission to the Aquarium at membership level – 363 days a year (the Aquarium is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 25 annually) Free parking in the Aquarium lot (when space is available)
