So, the fare for the Plus Package is currently $60 a day pp. so, it’s $120 for a double occupancy cabin. Gratuities per day for 2 passengers in a standard cabin = $32 a day. WiFi for one device each for 2 passengers (non elite status) = $30 a day. Plus Standalone Beverage Package for 1 passenger = $77 a day.
I was able to add 2 passengers to my original solo cabin 1 month before sailing this past January. Since I was already paying 100% supplement, the second passenger only paid port fees & tax and the third person paid cruise fare + port fees & tax. I booked direct with Princess and no other fees charged by Princess .

I've also seen refunds for cruises that changed regions (e.g. Europe to Caribbean) - indeed, in that case, most of the time they'll default to a refund, if not actually force it. Also, in the cases of weather, cruises can be changed and sometimes there will be a refund offer if the number of days and/or ports changes.
We booked a b2b to Alaska and was just told by princess no can do. So we canceled the first one and now only have 1 booked. However, medallion still shows 14 days starting on the 1st, now canceled cruise date.

It does not matter if it is before or after final payment. There is no change of amenities from when you booked the cruise. It is simply a cabin number change. Just tell the representative you would like to switch to another cabin in your category and which is the one you want to switch to. 1.
45 days to cruise - so after final payment - saw price drop - emailed PVP. options to consider, if possible. 1) change from balcony to deluxe balcony ( same price after drop ) 2) credit back to card. 3) OBC / Specialty dinner. got the room change at no charge, same booking number.
