The first letter of the color code is matched by order of increasing magnitude. The electronic color codes, in order, are: 0 = Black; 1 = Brown; 2 = Red; 3 = Orange; 4 = Yellow; 5 = Green; 6 = Blue; 7 = Violet; 8 = Gray; 9 = White; Easy to remember. A mnemonic which includes color name(s) generally reduces the chances of confusing black and brown.
A 2.26 kΩ, 1%-precision resistor with 5 color bands (), from top, 2-2-6-1-1; the last two brown bands indicate the multiplier (×10) and the tolerance (1%).. An electronic color code or electronic colour code (see spelling differences) is used to indicate the values or ratings of electronic components, usually for resistors, but also for capacitors, inductors, diodes and others.
25-pair color code chart used in certain kinds of wiring. A color code is a system for encoding and representing non-color information with colors to facilitate communication. This information tends to be categorical (representing unordered/qualitative categories) though may also be sequential (representing an ordered/quantitative variable).
A common application of the 25-pair color code is the cabling for the Registered Jack interface RJ21, which uses a female 50-pin miniature ribbon connector, as shown in the following table. The geometry of the pins of the receptacle (right hand image) corresponds to the pin numbers of the table.
A fascinating part of the game and what makes it rather enjoyable is that each code seems to form a kind of story. This adds to the mystery of Do Not Believe His Lies: The Unforgiving Riddle.
I have just added archive links to one external link on List of electronic color code mnemonics. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
Unusual grips. Although the vast majority of table tennis players grip the racket in one of the three styles above, there are some outlier grips which are very rare. The forehand (black) and back side (red) view of the Seemiller grip. The back side is not used, though sometimes the player will flip the racket to use the other rubber on the ...
Table tennis (also known as ping-pong or whiff-whaff) is a racket sport derived from tennis but distinguished by its playing surface being atop a stationary table, rather than the court on which players stand. Either individually or in teams of two, players take alternating turns returning a light, hollow ball over the table's net onto the ...
