   i have the same issue. phone which had the authentificator app installed broke, backup codes were on my phone saved as well. contacted roblox support and SPECIFICALLY explained them how i cant access my backup codes and authentificator app yet i got an automated response telling me to use my backup codes. i contacted them today AGAIN and very very specifically explained everything another time ...

   Can’t login to an account because it asks for “Authenticator App” code. I used the Google Authentication app for that account. Lost the phone and the backup codes.    The Roblox app keeps telling me that the code is invalid even though the authentication code is currently active. Now I can't even disable two-step verification for the same reason. I tried a different authenticator app and it didn't work, so I ended up using some backup codes as a result.

   Roblox tells me I need to get an authentication code from an authentication app but I cannot sign into any authentication app because I need the code from the start. So basically Roblox allowed me to put on the authentication without even downloading the app.
