Has 12 different backlit color options and best of all, it has the adequate media/function row keys on the top, including the screen brightness/dim keys. Features Bluetooth connectivity (not Magic Keyboard pogo pins) and charges via USB-C. I also have a Mytrix iPad Pro 12.9 case ($39.99) to use and it has a spot to protect the Apple Pencil on top.

  4. Logitech Combo Touch vs Magic Keyboard for iPad Air

    forums.macrumors.com/threads/logitech-combo-touch-vs-magic-keyboard-for-ipad...

The Combo Touch can have the keyboard removed easily with the case still on the iPad itself. The footprint is bigger on the Combo Touch as the keyboard comes out in front of it rather than the iPad sitting over it. But the kickstand has a greater range on the Combo Touch than the Magic Keyboard. The Combo Touch is also £120 cheaper .

Key Size and Key Spacing are likewise pretty similar to the stand-alone Magic Keyboard. The backlight works well and los good, there is light-bleed however (if you care about that). Having a function row is KING. For brightness, volume, keyboard brightness. Perfect. F3 and F4 (Show/Hide Keyboard + Spotlight) are useless imho.

It’s insane to think that this Logitech Folio Touch keyboard, for $150, which also includes protective padding for the side and back of the device, could actually compete head-to-head with the new scissor keyboard and trackpad that are in the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro for $350.

  7. Reviews for Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro 2021

    forums.macrumors.com/threads/reviews-for-logitech-combo-touch-for-ipad-pro...

    1. The combo touch sits so flush when closed it is rather hard to open - this is especially true when the Apple Pencil is attached. 2. When the combo touch is on the iPad it covers what I believe is the 3rd microphone hole on the left side of the device. It’s completely covered with no cutout at all.

When Apple introduced updated iPad Pro models earlier this year they came with a new accessory, the Magic Keyboard. Priced starting at $299, the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is Apple's most advanced keyboard yet, offering backlit full-size keys and, more importantly, a trackpad. At launch...

    7. Jul 2, 2021. #88. Loving my combo touch so far. Bought this for my 2020 iPad Pro 11 and it’s a perfect fit except for the speaker holes. Note that the speaker holes cutout are meant for the 2021 iPad Pros. If you choose to use this with a 2020 iPad Pro, the speaker holes WILL cover around 30% of the speakers.

Jun 6, 2024. #26. uecker87 said: Just a FYI in case you didn't see - the Combo Touch lost 100g in weight for the 11" and 120g on the 13" vs the last models. It is also noticeably thinner as well. View attachment 2378910. Had not realized that the new combo touch weighed so little. It’s a ton lighter than the Magic Keyboard, which weighs in at ...

  11. Anyone use their iPad Pro with a keyboard case on their lap?

    forums.macrumors.com/threads/anyone-use-their-ipad-pro-with-a-keyboard-case-on...

Nov 14, 2023. #8. I have the 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and would echo the similar sentiment - it's usable on my lap but not as ideal as an actual laptop due to the center of gravity and lesser range of of angles that the display can pivot to.
