The dlm version of piratebay I use is 1.15, which I downloaded from The Pirate Bay DLM Search Plug-in for Synology NAS Download Station | SynoBoost. The same works for me. This is the latest version. -- post merged: 26. Jan 2024 --.
The drive database contains information on drive temperature, S.M.A.R.T. attributes, compatibility list, firmware updates of Synology drives, and more. The system updates the database automatically and periodically.
On the failed download item, expand the "General" section at the very bottom. Copy the Url into a new browser tab, normally this will download the small .torrent file. Drag'n drop that .torrent file into Download Station. The download will then start. I hope Synology will figure out a solution soon!

I'm trying to have my download station traffic (torrent dloads) go through a vpn service. Under network interface, I've created a VPN profile, added my OpenVPN credentials, the vpn server and the certificate and I'm connected. So far so good. Now, how to tell Download Station to go through this particular vpn interface?

It needs a lot of patience. I was able to download the new DSM after many ties and did a manual update. Some of the packages did work on the update function, some I had to download manually and install, Logitech Squeezebox, I had to start from scratch :(Never got a single notofication :) Very bad support Synology, unworthy of this wonderful brand!
