For hard shifts with the traction control light on, usually is a sensor probably a wheel speed sensor or one transmission sensors. If you dont have a check light on I would still get it scanned for codes, since some codes do not always trigger a check engine light. It can be any of the sensors, more than likely wont need the transmission replaced.
