Since opening our doors in 2004, we have worked to build and establish trust with Chattanooga's diverse Latino demographic through programs and services created to empower and engage our community.

La Paz was founded by a group of faith leaders striving to help the Hispanic population. Many worked within the community and were seeing Hispanics and Latinos being taken advantage of. This group was heavily involved with a program of the Salvation Army, Esperanza del Barrio.
La Paz Chattanooga works to eliminate barriers and increase access to services for the growing Latino community. Through partnerships, we are able to provide additional services on site at our Latino Family Resource Center to include; bilingual application assistance for SNAP ( Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program ) and TennCare ...
Our advocacy platform is non-political, inspired by our shared humanity and a desire to see Chattanooga grow and prosper, as a city. We partner with organizations working to improve the lives of all Chattanoogans, although we do have a focus on our latino neighbors.
