BG3 Mod Manager works perfectly well and has never caused any issues for anyone. Meanwhile, comment sections on some mods are filled with Vortex users having problems with the way the software handles those mods. I'm reading those basically every day. Or users wishing for a modder to add a Vortex install option.

As a long-term user of Vortex for multiple different games: BG3MM is better. you want BG3MM for managing your load order, Vortex is unreliable in that area. if you're an experienced modder you can use Vortex to manage your library and use the autoupdate function, and then use BGMM to create and export your load order, that's what I do since ...
I'm pretty sure I put it on my desktop. Check Preferences for correct Drive letter under Settings -> Preferences (4) Download mod. File -> Import mod (1) Move mod from right side to left side. -> Leave Honour & Dice_06 on the right: they are Larian files. Make sure "parent" mods are listed above a mod from the same group (2)
I use BG3MM and haven’t had any issues. I'm not sure how you are using Mod Manager but the best way is to "import" mod right after you download them. - Download a mod (zip file).- "File/Import" in Mod Manager (the .zip directly, it ill automatically extract the .pak to the game's folder).-. Not because it's any more or less intuitive (they're about the same imo) but because you'll have more community support (or even mod author support) if you get stuck. Mods / Modding. Title says it all. Yesterday I went to play as usual and found that the game will no longer launch through the mod manager. I had this problem a few days ago with the recent patch but updating my mods seemed to fix it. I have tried updating them again, as well as verified game files through steam, and still nothing.

Update: Vortex worked, weird BG3 Mod Manager just stopped working. Having the same problem since today. Worked fine this morning, tried launching tonight, and this is happening.
Updated to Patch 5 today and noticed in the BG3 Mod Manager the new Honor Mode shows up as a mod for some reason. Not sure if I should move it to active mods or let it possibly fix itself. Edit: Decided to just reinstall the game and verify files, hopefully that fixes the issue of the new gamemodes showing as "Not Found". 9 Share.
