The GlobalProtect portal manages your GlobalProtect infrastructure, distributing configuration information and controlling software distribution. It doesn't distribute the app for mobile endpoints but controls gateway access for them.

(Windows and macOS only) Single Sign-On—With single sign-on (SSO), which is enabled by default, the GlobalProtect app uses the user’s OS login credentials to automatically authenticate and connect to the GlobalProtect portal and gateway.
Common Issue 1. Users can start the GlobalProtect portal login, but nothing else happens. Troubleshooting. On occasion the GlobalProtect client/Agent may need to be downloaded onto the device again after ensuring all the previous instances have been removed.
