Indiana School Corporations, Public and Non-Public Schools will use the “CPI/CPS Portal” as a Requesting Organization. DCS will pre-register and establish “Organization Profiles” for all of the schools identified by Indiana Department of Education.

The new “CPI/CPS Portal” is a single location, simplifying the process, securing personal and confidential information and streamlining the COBCU business process.

The Department of Child Services (DCS) is using the “CPI/CPS Portal” as a single, online doorway for the submission of the: Indiana Child Protection Services (CPS) history check requests; Expanded Child Protection Index (CPI) history checks requests; and
Paste the password into the portal and type in the last four digits of the social security number. Review the information and click on the box at the bottom of the page verifying that all of the information is correct.
