I had to replace my computer. I have Spectrum as my internet provider. I want to use my Outlook to read and send emails. I need to get this set-up ASAP. What do I need to do?
mail.spectrum.com for both in and out using ports 995 and 587. mobile.charter.net for both in and out using ports 993 587. All of the above we used with SSL and with none. Also tried auto and manual setups. I use both Outlook 2013 and 2016 and tried all these options on both.

Charter/Spectrum will no longer allow 3rd party apps (like Outlook or Apple Mail) to send email using charter/spectrum.net outbound (SMTP) email servers. I may try delete and re-add the charter account. Not feeling optimistic. Looks like it is about time is start the transition away from charter.net as my primary email address.
