It will require replacement of the sensor or replacement of the unit itself.If you do it yourself plan on a solid half day or more as these units were not made for easy disassembly.Unfortunately there is no easy fix, reset etc....it needs to have the sensor replaced. HVAC Technician: Michael C.Tech. Alright, it's the humidity sensor that is causing this issue. It's either faulty or needs to be cleaned off. I can share a video with you of how to do it, however, it is fairly hands on and not very DIY friendly. As a heads up. Customer. Ok.
Also make sure that the white drain hose is clear and nothing is blocking it. Lastly you have to be sure that enough humidity is coming out of the air to drain the length of the hose.
