Puritan Board Sophomore. May 20, 2009. #1. O.k. This is probably dangerous here, but I was wondering if anyone would listen to my sermon, and critique it. My Pastor went on vacation, and I am the "switch hitter", so to speak. Anyway, there were some members who were teaching some classes by this guy... Through the Bible with Les Feldick.

Is anyone here familiar with this man. I heard of him for the first time today and "Googled" him. Found quickly that he believes Peter and Paul preached a different gospel, he is dipsy, but other than that I don't know what he believes. Of the almost 30 pages of returns on Google(TM) that I...

Ultradispensationalism says the Church didnt begin until Acts 28. So there are slight differences between Hyper and Ultra, but I am unsure as to what they are.

On page 1115, note 2, these words appear: "As a dispensation, grace begins with the death and resurrection of Christ (Rom. 3:24-26; 4:24,25). The point of testing is no longer legal obedience as the condition of salvation, but acceptance or rejection of Christ, with good works as a fruit of salvation. . . ."

Puritan Board Sophomore. Jul 6, 2014. #1. What are Sheol and Hades? I was wondering because they are many references to Sheol and Hades in the Bible. For example, Psalm 88:3 says, "For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol." Also, Revelation 20:14 says, "Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

Puritan Board Junior. Jan 24, 2007. #1. An atheist was walking through the woods one day when he happened upon a grizzly bear. The bear chased the atheist and finally trapped him near a creek. As the grizzly bear lifted up his razor-sharp claws to deliver his death-blow, the atheist yelled "God, help me". Suddenly the atheist heard a voice out ...

Puritan Board Doctor. An archaeologist was digging in the Negev Desert in Israel and came upon a casket containing a mummy, a rather rare occurrence in Israel, to say the least. After examining it, he called Abe, the curator of the Israel museum in Jerusalem. "I've just discovered a 3,000 year old mummy of a man who died of heart failure!"

Jan 12, 2008. #1. Douglas Comin explains the rationale behind the execution of the Sabbath-breaker in Numbers 15: In the 15th chapter of Numbers we find an account of the punishment of a man who boldly broke the fourth commandment. The fact that most modern readers tend to view the penalty, which was death by stoning, as too harsh for the crime ...

Puritan Board Doctor. Sep 8, 2007. #1. From a letter he wrote, dated August, 1778, when he was 53: Your wound, while fresh, is painful; but faith, prayer, and time will, I trust, gradually render it tolerable. There is something fascinating in grief; painful as it is, we are prone to indulge it, and to brood over the thoughts and circumstances ...
