  2. The authors have apparently cheated on the continuity between Mad Max II and Beyond Thunderdome. In Mad Max 1 and 2 there was no mention of a nuclear holocaust. It's something that was added in so that Beyond Thunderdome would make sense to viewers unfamiliar with the first two movies. Surely the narrator at the begining of Mad Max II didn't ...

To summarize information found by searching for Mad Max chronology. Without comic book tie ins or other outside-of-movie clues, here's the information available. Mad Max: "a few years from now" and roadside graffiti dated 1984 places it mid-80's.

Bruce Spence, who played the Gyro Captain in Mad Max 2 plays Jedediah, a different character who robs Max at the start of the film. Confusingly, both characters use flying machines (in Mad Max 2 it was a 'Gyrocopter', in Mad Max 3 a Transavia PL-12 'Airtruk') and little is done to differentiate the two different characters.

In the movie "Mad Max", there was a large farmhand character. In the "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" movie, Max fights a masked giant in the dome. I have always imagined it was the same character (big farmboy) from "Mad Max" that had managed to survive the apocolypse by way of his brawn (as "Blaster").

For many years I've been trying to ID a mid-80's cult sci-film that I saw as a kid on TV in the UK. It must have been aired around the late 80's. My recollection is sketchy but it had a Mad-Max se...

  8. Max caused untold destruction in Bartertown, bit Auntie in the ass several times, earlier was sentenced to death, and yet, captured, at the very end, she just laughs, " We make a good team " (or something along those lines) and just let him stay there. To survive.

The specific example I give in my answer is that in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior and Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome, the same actor (Bruce Spence) is cast in very similar roles (Gyrocopter pilots) but as specfically different characters. This is confusing when watching the films back to back, but ultimately it doesn't really matter - this one ...

  10. What actually happened to Mad-Eye Moody in "Deathly Hallows"?

    scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/148545

So from that we know that enchantments break when the wizard/witch dies. But the tongue tying jinx and the Dusty Dumbledore both still work when the trio go to #12. It’s possible that Voldemort had Death Eaters patrolling for anyone that was injured/stunned and falling. Then that could save their own people and capture any Order members.

  11. What’s going on with the War Boys in Mad Max: Fury Road?

    scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/89879

In the new Mad Max: Fury Road, a major starting event is that Max is being used as. a "blood bag" for one of the War Boys. It seems to be implied later on that . the war boy has some sort of terminal illness (indicated by the two strange lumps on his collar bone and a mention of night fevers).
