The St. Louis Zoo is very impressive. Many animals have large exhibit areas (specifically the elephants) and very nice exhibits. My daughter loved walking through the sea lion area and seeing the penguins. Parking was $15, but we had passes from our hotel for the children's zoo, train, and carousel.
