Areas of study will include advanced layout and fabrication methodologies, gas tungsten arc welding of aluminum, stainless steel and TIG spot welding, welding metallurgy, and electric theory. All student activities are designed to enhance students’ skill levels toward achievement of American Welding Society.
Coursework may include various work-based learning experiences such as internships and job shadowing, involvement in a school based enterprise, completion of a capstone project, and/or portfolio development.
Incorporate both secondary and post-secondary education elements. Include rigorous content, challenging academic standards and relevant career and technical content in a coordinated, no-duplicative series of courses that align secondary and post-secondary education.
