The Bell Ranch is a historic ranch in Tucumcari, New Mexico, United States of America. Owned by John Malone since 2010, it is one of the largest privately owned ranches in the United States. [2] As of 2021 [update] , Malone is the second largest land owner in the country with 2.2 million acres. [3]

At the time of his death, his estate was estimated to be worth $4.5 million. His obituary in the San Antonio Express called him "the wealthiest man in Texas and the largest land and cattle owner in the state". Following his death, his two sons Dennis Martin (1839-1900) and Thomas Marion O'Connor continued to operate the ranch.
Woolaroc was established in 1925 as the ranch retreat of oilman Frank Phillips. The ranch is a 3,700-acre (1,500 ha) wildlife preserve, home to over 30 different species of native and exotic wildlife, such as bison , elk and longhorn cattle .
