Filippov, known commonly as the Buryat State Agricultural Academy, is a federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education in Siberia and the Russian Far East. The academy is specialized in agricultural studies, veterinary studies, and technological studies.
The university was founded in 1992 and served 306 students with 149 faculty. [1] The university was established by the state government to augment the specialized academic offerings of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
