I built a little tool for this, searches with the spotify api and then searches on youtube, downloads, and returns an mp3 with the metadata embedded. It's a small instance hosted on digitalocean and currently for personal use, but might consider properly hosting it if it's useful to others, please don't ddos me :)
I was trying to download mp3 on mp3.juice but i got a virus. The "mp3" file led to a website called secretoptions.
It carries me to different tabs, now that's normal but what isn't normal is how constantly it keeps saying "malware detected" and the fact that it isn't downloading the music. I'm guessing I have to let a tab stay open but no, mp3 juice just opened the tab and closed it and boom, music is installed. It never really said "Not safe" or anything ...

Allavsoft still works to convert soundcloud to mp3. However, it is not a online tool, it is a desktop software and support batch downloading multiple files and downloading playlists. In fact, Allavsoft supports many music websites.

i used to have a tidal ripper i forgot what it was called but man OnTheSpot is good. just wish spotify had extended mixes for some songs as i mix EDM/house but it’s okay. The quality is good too and i think it’s real 320kbps cuz when i drop it into a spectrum analyzer you can see it goes up to 20khz+.

Man, it hit me that getting music from those sites can be pretty damn risky. I wouldn't suggest it, especially if you're worried about malware and security. I've had a good experience with MP3 Juice too. It's super easy to use, and I really dig that it's got a ton of music to choose from.
