An electronic color code or electronic colour code (see spelling differences) is used to indicate the values or ratings of electronic components, usually for resistors, but also for capacitors, inductors, diodes and others.

This template can be used to specify the foreground color of a span of text. Acceptable values are RGB hex codes, e.g. #C9E72A, or any of the web colors: red, blue, green, moccasin, darkorchid, etc. To set the background color of a span of text, use {{ background color }}.
The Template:Col-4 sets column width for each of four columns. The {{ col-begin }}, {{ col-break }} and {{ col-end }} templates control columns of text on a page: { {col-end}}: ends the multi-column table. The widths of columns can be specified by using various additional codes. See below for examples.
