Mcafee doesn't want you to uninstall their software. They make that perfectly clear when you try to uninstall it. Don't go to the website that is creating the problem.
My PC woke up from sleep on its own. When I signed in, there was a popup from McAfee. I discovered that it had just been installed at the precise time my PC was awakened. I uninstalled it but am having a lot of trouble getting rid of all the related files. I'm getting help for that on a separate post. But I am wondering how the heck this happened.

Hi, Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. It is not a Microsoft application and most of the programs work fine without a reinstall after upgrading to Windows 10. CH. Cheryl/Wheelitt. Created on April 10, 2011. Acrobat Reader downlode also automatically downloaded McAfee Security Plus...question about this below. I downloaded the Free Acrobat Reader and it automatically downloaded with it McAfee Security scan plus. I am using the Free AVG anti-virus.
