The City of Broken Arrow has a new Streets and Stormwater Department Director. City Manager Michael Spurgeon announced that Tim Wilson, who has been serving as the interim director since March, has been promoted to full-time director.

It houses 32 beds divided into male and female cell blocks. The jail also includes an intake area, holding cells, visitation area, exercise yard, and two day rooms.
History of the Name of Broken Arrow. Many eastern Oklahoma towns of today existed in the earliest days of Indian Territory. Broken Arrow is such a town, settled by people of the Muscogee (Creek) tribe who were removed to these lands in the early 1800s from the southeastern United States.
