Established in 1909, the district was known as the Palm Beach County Board of Public Instruction until the mid-1980s. It is accredited by Cognia (formerly known as Advance-ED). [ 6 ] The district's headquarters are in the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center in Palm Springs .
The school opened as Forest Hill High School in 1959; [4] it is situated next to the West Palm Beach Country Club and I-95 in the southwestern corner of the City of West Palm Beach on a compact 17.38-acre (70,300 m 2) tract.
