Write: Yes. Compile: No. Java is just WAY too different compared to C/C++/D... which are natively supported. However, syntax highlighting should work properly. If you have only a few Java files you can use the custom build commands (within the file properties) to call the Java compiler. But that's basically it.
Hello everybody, I'm new on Code::Blocks and I'm having some troubles with compiler. Code::Blocks doesn't find a right compiler so i downloaded from Internet WinAVR 20100110. From setting -> compiler my selected compiler is GNU AVR GCC compiler (I don't have one). Into "search directories" I have two voices: C:\WinAVR\avr\include
Re: where to download libraries. It should be installed with the compiler, at least on Windows gcc (MinGW) has it. But it may not be a part of the compiler's library on another platform. If you are on Windows you can download Code::Blocks with the compiler included (mingw packages). Then you have conio.h for sure.
I have recently installed Visual Studio 2019 Enterprise Under Windows 10 and configured it for use in Code::Blocks under the generic name 'MSVC'. My projects all refer to a generic 'MSVC' compiler on Windows. This way the project files are unaffected by a compiler upgrade from MSVC2013 to MSVC2019 (or any other combination of compiler versions).
Thanks to all developers for the ongoing effort in the further development of Code::Blocks. After some month I decided use the new nightly 13344 (01.09.2023) to update Code::Blocks from the version used before 13107 (10.12.2022) Unfortunately, I had to face an issue again, that I have already reported for the nightly 22.01.2022 (12672) here:
Herllo, I been working non stop 3 days trying to get a dark theme on Codeblocks. There was no default.conf file installed so I downloaded one from sourceforge.
