I really do not have a lot of money (80 bucks is 2/3 of my money for food per month, to put it into perspective), so I want to know if it’s really worth it.
Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society—being acclaimed all over the US and out. Plus, maybe it’s just w/ my school, but AGS doesn’t do ANYTHING. PTK has monthly meetings, events, fundraisers, etc. </p> <p>Good luck! If you have any questions let me know. It’s really worth everything to join Phi Theta Kappa!</p>

I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa at my local community college. I had to have a 3.8 to qualify. Many colleges offer transfer scholarships to Phi Theta Kappa members especially if your community college has an articulation agreement with them.</p>

It is a distinct honors society all its own. It’s actually the largest honors society in the world as I recall. </p>.
<p>Phi Beta Kappa is an honorary society that juniors or seniors can be inducted into. You need to demonstrate academic excellence and academic depth. It generally amounts to ~17 A’s in your 1st 5 semesters at Brown, if you are a junior. Very few juniors (~20-30) get inducted, many more seniors are inducted each year.</p>

I received an email about a club called Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Basically you have to have 12 units completed, a 3.5 GPA, and pay a $75 fee.
