Got the same “Account Services” text on caller I’d. It’s a spam call. I get 5+ calls from phone numbers every weekday (rarely on weekends) that act as real numbers from the area code that my own number starts with, or even says it’s from my hometown.
Charles Schwab corp (NYSE: SCHW) is the owner of TD Ameritrade. Services offered include common and preferred stocks, futures, ETFs, option trades, mutual funds, fixed income, margin lending, and cash management services.
I have gotten a few calls from a caller who shows up as "Account Services" on my phone. I looked the number up on Google. A number of websites are suggesting that this is a scam, that this is spam.
Suggestion: stop answering the phone unless it's coming from someone you know and expect (unless you have to answer your line for work, obviously). Virtually all phone-based scams can be avoided this way. Phone number spoofing is rampart and you can't trust what your caller ID says, even if it says it's the local police department (it's not).

Just got a letter in the mail from them saying I owe money for a credit card I NEVER opened. Even my name is spelled wrong in the letter. I’m just confused on how they got my address to be able to mail me anything. I’ve already checked my credit and nowhere does it say I have this account, in fact my credit is in almost perfect standing.
Some how my number got on a list years ago, and I get these recorded phone calls with a woman's voice, with a different name, and a different number on the caller ID, usually 2-3 times a week. Most of the time the numbers originate from some obscure town in US (The latest one was from Novato, CA, the one before that was from Mcphereson,KS)

Debt collectors often use VOIP services with a large number of different phone numbers to prevent people that want to dodge them from just blocking their number. You should check your credit report to make sure there isn't something in collections that you are not aware of.
