    Got the same “Account Services” text on caller I’d. It’s a spam call. I get 5+ calls from phone numbers every weekday (rarely on weekends) that act as real numbers from the area code that my own number starts with, or even says it’s from my hometown.

    I have gotten a few calls from a caller who shows up as "Account Services" on my phone. I looked the number up on Google. A number of websites are suggesting that this is a scam, that this is spam.

    Suggestion: stop answering the phone unless it's coming from someone you know and expect (unless you have to answer your line for work, obviously). Virtually all phone-based scams can be avoided this way. Phone number spoofing is rampart and you can't trust what your caller ID says, even if it says it's the local police department (it's not).

    Just got a letter in the mail from them saying I owe money for a credit card I NEVER opened. Even my name is spelled wrong in the letter. I’m just confused on how they got my address to be able to mail me anything. I’ve already checked my credit and nowhere does it say I have this account, in fact my credit is in almost perfect standing.
