A&M Electrical Engineering Professor Tier List. Last week I posted a poll to all of the electrical engineering seniors at A&M. The poll was designed to provide insight on the most (and least) enjoyable professors. I received 82 responses and compiled the results into numerical ratings for each one. The results were interesting because, unlike ...

  3. Best Professors at Texas A&M : r/aggies - Reddit

He is such a gem & deserves all the happiness in the world. I transferred to TAMU last fall from another D1 SEC school and was so nervous about forming good relationships with my professors at such a large school like TAMU. Dr. Curry has hands down been the most personable, caring, grandfatherly professor I’ve ever had.

  4. TAMU AERO Professor Tier List : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/swjbul/tamu_aero_professor_tier_list

All professors with 8 or fewer votes were not included. Tiers were defined as being increments of 0.5. In other words, 5-4.5 is S tier, 4.49-4.0 is A tier, etc. An interesting statistic to take away from the results would be that, assuming the ‘average’ professor is considered to be a 3, nearly 80% of the AERO professors would be above ...

  5. Stat 211 with Lloyd Hatfield : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/102bqm2/stat_211_with_lloyd_hatfield

The class isn't any harder than calculus, and you can probably self-study through it, but his attitude makes him ineffective as anything more than an exam proctor. For stat 211 you’ll be fine no matter who you have if you go to Dr. Scott Crawford’s website (can be found with a simple Google search).

  6. ECEN Professor Experiences : r/aggies - Reddit

ECEN Professor Experiences. So this is my last semester, and I'm really stressing out about classes this year. I'm usually really good about being in class, taking notes and understanding the material. But since I am doing everything remotley this year, It is so much harder to pay attention. To get to my point, two of my teachers are Wonhyeok ...

  7. Who are the worst Profs? : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/niaoet/who_are_the_worst_profs

snamke. • 3 yr. ago. Aydin Karsilayan is the worst professor I have ever taken. I’m not sure if it’s due to online classes, but this man had no mercy. Quiz averages were almost always near 0 due to limited partial credit.

  8. Best Acct 328 Professor? : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/12cq4li/best_acct_328_professor

Academics. Does anyone have any good professor recommendations for Acct 328? I’m stuck between Michael Harding and Emily Shafron…. While I haven’t heard much about Emily (and her rate my professor grade is low), I do like the fact that her exams are chapter by chapter (and not cumulative)… making it 7 exams vs taking 3 + a Final….

  9. Professor Karsilayan is ridiculous : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/lv4mec/professor_karsilayan_is_ridiculous

snamke. ADMIN MOD. Professor Karsilayan is ridiculous. I’m in his ECEN 325 class this semester, and I’m absolutely sick of it. His teaching style is repeatedly circling things until the slides look like the notes of a conspiracy theorist. He has the most condescending tone from a professor I have ever heard and seems annoyed when you ask ...

  10. Worst Teacher at A&M? : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/zocpz5/worst_teacher_at_am

Worst Teacher at A&M? In your opinion, who is the worst teacher at A&M? For me, it is Margaret Ray. She would be insanely passive aggressive anytime anyone would ask her anything. Her lectures are utterly useless bullshit that have nothing to do with the tests.

  11. Rate my professor : r/aggies - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/aggies/comments/8jdk43/rate_my_professor

Also students are more likely to rate a professor poorly if they do poorly in the class (and the vast majority of the time it's the student's fault, like if a class isn't easy to do without going to the lectures), so take RMP with a grain of salt for that reason.
