At the end of the day, if a professor has a bunch of 5-star reviews from 2009, it can balance their new ones out. That said, his reviews have always been a mixed bag because he is very quick to kick students out for potentially small reasons, but he is a solid professor if you don't get kicked out. The real way to use rate my professor is skim the reviews see what most people are saying. But even then i would never ever go into a class expecting everything to be true or false. BRUUUUH that class was an L. Definitely not the hardest but really damn annoying. CSE 420 with Shrivastava had the weirdest grading of any class I’ve ever taken. SHS 250 phonetics. Tested the first week of class and the TAS in the first review of the answers admitted they wouldn’t have passed.

Below 3 = immediate fail, drop and wait for next semester or class to open up, and take filler classes to not lose your scholarship. Many professors at ASU do not care about their students and just want to be paid. Make sure to focus on getting good professors for harder subjects like CSE, Math, History, Language, Science, etc.
