Dallas Academy's high school academic plan provides students with a college preparatory education. Our graduation plan meets and exceeds the state of Texas's curriculum requirements, enabling our students to apply for admission into institutions of higher education throughout the nation.
Dallas Academy offers students and parents the best of both worlds by providing an effective program and strategies to meet the special educational needs of bright students with learning differences while including the activities of a larger, more traditional school.
Admissions. Dallas Academy works with students entering grades 1–12 with diagnosed learning differences which may include Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD (level 1), and memory and processing disorders.
Since 1965, Dallas Academy has offered a structured, multisensory program for students with diagnosed learning differences which may include impairments in reading (dyslexia), writing (dysgraphia), and math (dyscalculia), ADD/ADHD, ASD (level 1), and memory and processing disorder.
This year we will be partnered with Wholesome Food Service for food service on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Below you will find a flyer and instructions on how to register and place orders. There is also a Wholesome Food Services app available through Apple and Google.

Dallas Academy’s rich and colorful history dates back to Dallas in the 1960’s. At this time, very few educational opportunities were available for students who had learning challenges. In 1965, Wallace and Dorothy Savage were experiencing first-hand the void of viable school options for their daughter, Dotsy.
As Dallas Academy is a specialized school with a maximum enrollment of 210, many grade-levels fill up quickly so we strongly encourage families to begin the admission process early. Step 1: Complete the Online Inquiry Form. Step 2: Submit Diagnostic Testing to admissions@dallas-academy.com.
