On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Find My. If you’re asked to sign in, enter your Apple Account information. If you don’t have an Apple Account, tap “Don’t have an Apple Account or forgot it?” then follow the instructions.
In the Find My app, select your missing device or item. Scroll down to Mark as Lost (or Lost Mode), then select Activate (or Enable). Follow the onscreen steps if you want to display your contact information on your missing device or when someone scans your AirTag with their iPhone or smartphone. Select Activate.
