Corbet's Couloir. Corbet's Couloir is an expert ski run located at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Wyoming.It is named after Jackson Hole ski instructor and mountain guide Barry Corbet who famously spotted the narrow crease of snow shaped like an upside down funnel and remarked, "Someday someone will ski that."
Jackson Hole is a resort town on the border between Huailai County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, China, and Yanqing District, Beijing, wedged between Taihang and Yan mountain ranges. [2] Its architecture and design is inspired by the town of Jackson, Wyoming in the United States.
South Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Teton County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 1,831 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jackson, WY–ID Micropolitan Statistical Area. The community does not have any connections with South Park, the animated Comedy Central television series.
The park's entrance included a large gift shop, a drive-in restaurant which featured "Brontoburgers", and a 20-foot tall statue of Dino overlooking the entrance. After entering the park, visitors could ride an 1880s miniature train that took guests to a western façade, through Dinosaur Canyon, around the park and returned to the depot after passing through a volcano called Mt. St. Wilma.
On the night of August 7, 1964, Pixley broke into a room of the Wort Motor Hotel [8] in Jackson, Wyoming, occupied by the family of Illinois Circuit Court Judge Robert McAuliffe, who were on vacation. McAuliffe and his wife were elsewhere in the hotel taking in a show. [6] When they returned to their room, they found Pixley lying on the floor.
