If you're running into this problem, you might want to log in to your account via the "forgot password" thing and see if there's a place where you need to authorize Chase to have permission to use your phone number for 2FA. I tried looking around for it and couldn't find anything like that, but the option could be there.

There's an option under security & privacy where it says "add extra security when you sign in using a browser". Then you can check receive OTP codes over email. Not a fix for the texting problem but you'll see an email section when you go to login to your mobile app next time. 1.

Well, I tried resetting my password. The last step is a one-time passcode is sent to my device. I pasted the passcode into the app and it said it was invalid. Where I finally found it is under the main menu (hamburger menu), click on Security Settings, then scroll down to Resources, and then click on "Add extra security when you sign in using a browser". That brings up the option to toggle 2FA on or off. WTF. Wow. Thank you.

By default all Chase accounts, banking, credit cards, investments be they personal or business show in the primary user's login by default. You can see the AU's card, they can't see your accounts and I don't understand your term "joint card" vs AU and if you're two players you should each open a CSP if you have the spend. 1. Reply. Chase Multiple Login Workaround. Forgive me if this is already a known workaround, but I'm posting in case it'll help someone else in the future. Five days ago, my wife's Chase accounts stopped sync'ing using Plaid. My accounts have no problem. I ended up trying to add her accounts again, but using MX. This had the balance reversed, which isn't ...

  11. why Chase doesn't have 2FA? : r/Chase - Reddit

Really wish they supported yubikeys... but incumbent banks are quite behind the security & tech industries here. Best available at Chase is a text/call to a number on file when they don't recognize a new device. This does not protect you against SIM swaps, so you might consider moving your number to GoogleFi to protect against that threat vector.
