CAHS is excited to partner with both Petco and PetSmart stores in our area for weekly adoption events. Below is our weekly schedule: Petco Frandor – Frandor Shopping Center, 510 Frandor Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912. Fridays form 3-6 p.m. The first Sunday of every month from 12-3 p.m.

How the CAHS Community Cat Program helps: • Free use of our live traps. • Instruction from our trained staff on how to trap safely and quickly. • Free spay/neuter for your community cats (feral/free-roaming). • Free vaccines: rabies, FVRCP vaccine. • Free ear tipping (ear tipping is mandatory).
Volunteers contribute to the success of everything we do and our animals benefit tremendously from the time and compassion they give. Current Volunteers: All active volunteers must be scheduled for a volunteer shift prior to coming in.

Join us on Saturday, October 5 at 1 p.m. at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge for a day filled with fun, fur, and fundraising. By participating, you’ll be helping to save the lives of homeless and abandoned pets in our community.
CAHS youth education programs enrich the community by focusing on humane education throughout a child’s life. Elementary curriculum explores a series of hands-on activity stations that reinforce concepts in veterinary care, pet costs, pet grooming, pet point of view, animal cruelty and animal careers.
